Duo Nagai-Weitzel

Chie Nagai and Joshua Weitzel work together since 2011. They are also married to each other. Their duo combines improvised music with site-specific sound performance, often working with the specific resonances and properties of places. They also combine a variety of contrasting materials from european classical music, Japanese music, elementary music pedagogy, and experimental music. The duo often invites other musicians to work with them.
